What does a fever break feel like?

I had a very high fever for two days, and just now, it feels like it's finally going down. It's such a weird sensation. What does a fever breaking actually feel like?

When the fever finally breaks, you will suddenly start sweating heavily and your skin will go from burning hot to cool and clammy. You might feel a bit weak but the heavy head feeling will lift. Drink some warm ginger-tulsi water and change into dry clothes immediately so you don't catch a chill.

After lying in bed shivering and feeling completely miserable for days, that sudden burst of sweating feels like a massive emotional relief. You feel weak and drenched, but the intense body ache and chills finally stop, and you can breathe easily again. It really feels like surviving a small battle.

Bro, you basically wake up completely drenched in sweat like you just ran a marathon in your sleep. Your bedsheets are ruined, but suddenly your brain actually starts functioning again and you don't feel like a boiled potato anymore. It's the best sweaty feeling in the world!

When my fever breaks, my body gets very sweaty and cold, and my pulse finally calms down. Because of my thyroid, my body temperature regulation is already sensitive, so I make sure to monitor it closely. If you have any hormonal issues, keep your doctor updated on your recovery.

The skin becomes cool to touch and you sweat a lot, which is a sign the body temperature is coming down. I always give light moong dal khichdi and warm water once the fever breaks. But if the fever keeps coming back with high intensity, please do not wait at home and see a doctor.

You go from shivering under two blankets to throwing them off and sweating like you're sitting in a local train in June. The heavy pressure in your forehead disappears, although your body still feels like it was hit by a truck. Just drink some coconut water and rest.

For me, a breaking fever feels like sudden sweating and a cool forehead, but it can also make me feel slightly dizzy. As a diabetic, I immediately check my blood sugar levels because fever and sweating can sometimes mimic hypoglycemia symptoms. Keep yourself hydrated with plain water, not sugary juices.
