What does a chiropractor do for lower back pain?

My lower back pain has been bothering me for a while now. My friend suggested seeing a chiropractor. What exactly do they do for lower back pain, like what kind of treatment?

Beta, woh log haath se peeth ki haddi ko thoda daba kar aur khinch kar thik karte hain, jise chiropractic adjustment bolte hain. Hamare yahan toh log purane nuskhe karte hain, par tum kisi acche padhe-likhe doctor ke paas hi jana jo tumhari peeth ki janch sahi se kare.

A chiropractor focuses on aligning your spine to relieve pressure on the nerves causing back pain. They use quick, controlled force on your joints, which sometimes makes a popping sound. It works well for mechanical pain, but always consult an orthopedic doctor first to rule out any nerve compression.

I once ignored my severe back pain and tried random massage therapies, which ended up making my slip disc much worse. Chiropractors do spinal adjustments, but please do not let anyone touch your spine before you get a proper MRI and consult a spine specialist. Don't repeat my mistake.

Back pain is so mentally exhausting and depressing, I completely feel your pain. Chiropractors try to adjust your alignment to ease the pain, but the popping sounds can be a bit scary if you are already anxious. Just take it slow and see if gentle physiotherapy feels safer for you.

All my back pain comes from sitting and eating heavy paranthas all day! Chiropractors basically stretch and crack your back to put the joints back in place. It sounds satisfying, but I'd rather stick to my walk and see a regular doctor if the pain gets real.

My orthopedic doctor explained that chiropractors use sudden, controlled force to improve spinal range of motion. However, he strictly advised against it for any kind of disc herniation or osteoporosis. He suggested medical evaluation and guided physiotherapy exercises instead.

They basically perform spinal manipulations using their hands or small instruments to restore joint mobility. If you are sitting long hours at a desk, it might offer temporary relief, but make sure to get an X-ray or MRI first so they don't mess up any disc issues.
