My brother was recently told he has early signs of kidney disease, and our family is worried. We need to know which type of doctor specializes in treating kidney conditions.

I think you need to consult a nephrologist for kidney-related issues. Has anyone else here noticed mild swelling in their ankles before getting diagnosed? I am a bit worried about my own symptoms.

You need to see a nephrologist, yaar. Actually, kidneys are super important, so don't delay it. Just get a basic kidney function test done and show it to a good specialist in your area.

Go to a nephrologist. My dad had some kidney issues last year and the nephrologist managed his medication and diet perfectly. Don't go to random general clinics for this, consult a specialist directly.

A nephrologist is the right specialist for kidney diseases. I track my daily water intake and urine output on my health app, which is a great habit to monitor kidney health. Make sure to get your eGFR and creatinine levels checked.

I think a nephrologist treats kidney diseases, but I am not very sure. Does a urologist also treat kidney problems, or are they only for surgical issues? If anyone knows, please guide me.
