What do you call someone who loves pain?

I'm trying to understand more about different human behaviors and psychological traits. I've heard there's a term for people who genuinely love or are fascinated by pain, not necessarily in a harmful way. What's the correct term for someone who loves pain?

They are called masochists. Personally, during my sports days, I used to push through intense physical pain, but that was just for fitness, not because I loved it. Everyone's mental makeup is different.

I was looking up psychological terms yesterday and found out they are called masochists. It refers to someone who derives gratification from pain or humiliation. Quite an interesting concept!

In English, they call them masochists, bhaiya. But please take care of yourself, no one should have to suffer or bear pain silently. Stay happy and healthy.

The word for this is a masochist. If you are going through a difficult phase and feeling overwhelmed, please remember that you deserve to feel peaceful and happy.

They are called masochists. I used to struggle with self-harm tendencies as a coping mechanism for stress, but after regular therapy sessions, I have completely recovered and found healthier ways to cope. Seek help, it works.
