What do you call a hospital for mental health?

My friend is going through a very tough time with her mental health and I think she needs professional help, maybe even inpatient care. I'm trying to find resources for her. What is the proper term for a hospital or facility dedicated to mental health treatment?

They are usually called psychiatric hospitals or mental health clinics. I have been thinking of visiting one myself for severe anxiety, has anyone else here done that? Is it very stressful on the first day?

These are called psychiatric rehabilitation centers or mental health clinics. Alongside professional therapy, keeping up with regular physical workouts and a clean diet really helps keep your mental state stable and positive.

They are known as psychiatric hospitals, wellness retreats, or therapy clinics. There is absolutely no shame in seeking help from these places, dear. Just look for a reputed clinic with kind counselors to begin your healing journey.

You can call them psychiatric hospitals or mental health centers. If private clinics are too expensive, government hospitals like NIMHANS or state psychiatric departments offer excellent care and counseling at highly subsidized rates.
