What do tooth cavities look like?

My younger sister sometimes complains about tooth pain, and I'm worried she might have cavities because she loves sweets. I want to check her teeth, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. What do tooth cavities typically look like?

They look like dark brown or black holes on the chewing surface of your teeth. Don't wait for a major toothache to happen. Go to a dentist and get a simple filling done before it turns into a painful root canal.

Bro, they basically start as tiny black or brown spots on your back teeth that look like food stuck there. If you try brushing them off and they don't go, it is definitely a cavity. Better get it checked before it starts hurting during exams.

For me, cavities looked like small greyish holes on my molars. Since I manage my diabetes carefully, I avoid sugary sweets, but high blood sugar can still affect dental health. Keep your sugar levels in check and visit your dentist regularly.

I recently noticed a tiny dark line on my front tooth and got so worried about how it looked! It was just an early cavity, and the dentist fixed it with a tooth-colored filling. It looks completely normal now, so don't stress.

Cavities look like dark yellow, brown, or black stains on the teeth, and sometimes you can feel a small pit with your tongue. Because of my thyroid, I face dry mouth issues which makes me more prone to cavities. Regular dental follow-ups are a must.

These are just small physical imperfections, looking like dark specks or tiny holes on the teeth. Stay positive and take quiet care of your health. A gentle visit to a dentist will resolve this easily, keeping your mind at peace.

My 8-year-old had these chalky white patches on his teeth which slowly turned into small brown spots. It is very common in kids. Make sure they brush twice a day and get those spots filled by a pediatric dentist early on.
