What do piles feel like to touch?

I've been experiencing some issues and my mother thinks it might be piles. I'm hesitant to check myself, but I want to understand what they might feel like if I were to touch them. Is there a common sensation?

To touch, external piles feel like small, soft, skin-covered grape-like lumps around the anal opening. If they get thrombosed or have a blood clot, they will feel quite hard and extremely tender to touch. If it is hard and hurting badly, don't sit on it, just see a doctor.

They feel like small, soft swellings or skin tags that can feel tender and warm when inflamed. Through gentle yoga and breathing exercises like Pranayama, I managed to improve my blood circulation and digestion, which helped shrink them naturally over time.

I remember feeling so embarrassed and terrified when I first felt those soft, fleshy lumps down there. It is completely normal to feel scared, but they are just swollen veins. Please don't suffer in silence or feel ashamed to talk to a doctor about it.

They feel like little soft, fleshy bumps, almost like small skin tags. I realized they flare up and feel more swollen right after I binge on extra spicy biryani or oily street food. Trust me, cutting down on red chillies makes touching those lumps a lot less painful!

Normally they feel like soft, saggy tissue folds. But if they are inflamed, they swell up and feel like firm, sensitive marbles. Skip the self-diagnosis—if they feel hard and painful, go get a professional medical opinion immediately.

They feel like tiny, soft cushions or bumps, sometimes a bit slippery. When they are irritated, they can feel swollen and painful to touch. Applying a little coconut oil or a prescribed soothing cream gently can help ease the discomfort.
