What do kidney beans taste like?

My daughter is experimenting with new recipes, and she wants to cook something with kidney beans. She's asking what they taste like. Does anyone know what kidney beans taste like? Are they bland or have a distinct flavour?

They have a very creamy and earthy taste, haan na. When you cook them well, they become soft and soak up all the masala flavors beautifully. Bilkul comfort food lagta hai.

They have a rich, filling, and nutty flavor which makes them a great, low-cost protein source instead of expensive meat. Buying them dry in bulk from local markets is very cheap and highly economical for monthly kitchen planning.

For me, they taste very mild, slightly nutty, and have a dense, soft texture when boiled properly. I always cook them with cumin and tomatoes to give them a richer flavor.

Beta, cooked rajma tastes very buttery and soft, like boiled potatoes but with a nice earthy sweetness. It is very satisfying and keeps the stomach full for a long time.

They taste earthy and creamy, especially when cooked with a pinch of hing to help with digestion. However, if eating them causes you severe bloating or stomach pain, please consult a doctor to check for food sensitivities.

Honestly, they taste like absolute heaven after a 12-hour night shift when you are too tired to chew anything complex. Just mushy, warm, earthy comfort that puts you straight to sleep.

They have a mild, slightly sweet, and chalky taste if not cooked completely. Please ensure you boil them thoroughly to destroy toxins; raw kidney beans can cause severe food poisoning, so cook them safely.

They have a dense, starchy, and slightly nutty flavor. I had to consult my clinical nutritionist at Max Hospital about my diet, and she recommended well-boiled kidney beans as a good source of fiber. Check with your doctor if they suit your digestive system.
