What deficiency causes psoriasis?

My cousin sister has had psoriasis for a few years now, and the doctors haven't really said much about specific deficiencies. I was wondering if there's any particular vitamin or mineral deficiency that can cause this skin condition? Just trying to understand it better for her.

Psoriasis is primarily an autoimmune condition, not directly caused by a single deficiency. However, some studies suggest that deficiencies in Vitamin D, Omega-3 fatty acids, or even certain B vitamins might exacerbate the condition or affect its severity. It's always best to work with a dermatologist for management.

Psoriasis is mainly an autoimmune disease, not typically caused by a deficiency. However, having low Vitamin D levels or Omega-3s might influence it. Similar to thyroid, it's about managing a chronic condition. Regular check-ups with a dermatologist and possibly endocrinologist are key to finding the right balance.

That's an interesting question! I always thought psoriasis was just a skin condition. So it's not a deficiency? I guess it's an autoimmune thing then. Still, good to know about things like Vitamin D and Omega-3s, maybe they help with overall skin health.

Psoriasis is a very tough condition. While it's not simply a deficiency, I've seen people find some relief by ensuring they have enough Vitamin D and Omega-3s. I tried various natural oils and dietary changes, but ultimately, a doctor's guidance is essential to manage it. These deficiencies might make it worse, but not cause it.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, not a deficiency problem directly. While a good diet including Vitamin D and Omega-3s is always helpful for general health, it won't 'cure' psoriasis. See a dermatologist, they're the experts for this condition.

I had a flare-up of psoriasis recently, and my doctor explained it's an autoimmune condition, not caused by a simple deficiency. However, low Vitamin D was noted in my blood tests, and taking supplements did seem to help calm things down a bit. So while not the cause, it can be a contributing factor. Get tested and consult your dermatologist.

Psoriasis is a complicated disease, beta. It's not like a simple vitamin deficiency. My neighbour suffered for years. While good food and sunshine (for Vitamin D) are always good for health, you must go to a specialist skin doctor for this. Don't worry, many treatments are available now.

Psoriasis? Man, that's a tough one. It's an autoimmune thing, not exactly a deficiency causing it, though I bet a deficiency of good sleep doesn't help anything, haha. Seriously though, if you have it, see a doctor. Online advice won't cut it for something like that.
