What cuts acidity in food?

My husband often complains of acidity after eating. I try to cook healthy but sometimes the food becomes a bit tangy. What can I add to cut down the acidity in our daily meals?

Acidity in food? Ah, the arch-nemesis of our digestive systems! A pinch of baking soda can neutralize it, like a superhero coming to the rescue. Or, just add some sugar, because everything's better with a little sweetness, right? 😉 But seriously, a little bit of sugar or a dairy product often works wonders.

Ho na, acidity kam karne ke liye food mein, thoda sa sugar ya jaggery add karte hain. Kai log butter ya cream bhi daalte hain, especially in curries. It helps to balance the taste. Haan na, simple tips hain.

Cutting acidity in food doesn't need fancy ingredients. A bit of sugar or jaggery is super cheap and effective. If you're cooking with tomatoes, sometimes adding a little bit of baking soda also neutralizes it. No need to spend a lot on special 'anti-acid' ingredients.

I totally get why you'd ask this, acidity can be really uncomfortable after eating. For food, usually adding a little bit of sugar or a small amount of an alkaline ingredient like baking soda can help. Sometimes, just pairing it with something bland like rice can balance it out. Don't worry, small adjustments make a big difference.

I had a stomach upset last week because of too much spicy food. My mom always adds a pinch of baking soda or a spoonful of sugar to our tomato-based curries if they taste too tangy. Also, adding cream or coconut milk reduces the acidity and makes it milder. It actually works!

To reduce acidity in food, especially in tomato-based dishes, you can add a pinch of baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) as it's alkaline and neutralizes acids. Alternatively, a small amount of sugar, jaggery, or even a dairy product like cream or milk can balance the tartness. These are common kitchen practices that work well.

Ooh, to balance out those zesty flavors! I love adding a little bit of sugar or jaggery to my curries with tomatoes. Sometimes a spoonful of cream or even some cashewnut paste makes it rich and mellows down the acidity beautifully. Perfect for my taste buds!
