What color is skin cancer ribbon?

My cousin just got diagnosed with skin cancer, and we're all trying to support him. We want to wear awareness ribbons for him, but I'm not sure which color represents skin cancer. Can someone help?

From what I've seen, the skin cancer awareness ribbon is usually orange. I've also heard black for melanoma specifically. I'm not a doc, so this is just what I know from general awareness campaigns.

Hey! So for melanoma, which is a type of skin cancer, the ribbon color is black. But generally, for skin cancer awareness, it's often orange. It's a bit confusing cause different cancers have specific colors, right?

Oh, that's a good question. I think for general skin cancer awareness, the ribbon is orange. For melanoma, it's black. It's important to differentiate sometimes. It's great you're asking to spread awareness!

Yeah, I think I saw somewhere it's orange for skin cancer in general. And for melanoma, it's black. My friend's dad had something like that, so I remember reading up a bit. Pretty serious stuff.

For skin cancer, I believe the awareness ribbon is orange. However, for melanoma, it's black. If you need absolute clarity on any medical symbol, it's always best to ask the specialists at a reputable hospital or your doctor directly. They have the most accurate information.
