What causes tummy pain after eating?

Every time I eat a proper meal, especially if it's a bit heavy, I get a dull ache in my tummy afterwards. It's not indigestion, I think. What could be causing this tummy pain right after eating?

Haan, after-meal tummy pain is usually due to fast eating or severe acidity, na. When we eat heavy oily food, the stomach produces excess acid, which hurts. Ek baar simple eating habits check karo and keep a gap between meals.

I used to get severe cramps right after eating lunch, and my doctor told me it was due to lactose intolerance. Once I cut out dairy, the pain literally stopped in two days. Keep a food diary to track what exactly triggers your stomach.

I know how stressful it is to feel scared of eating because of the pain that follows. It completely ruins your day and makes you super anxious. Most of the time it is just a sensitive gut or IBS, so try to calm your mind and speak to a gastroenterologist.

I ignored stomach pain after dinner for six months, thinking it was just regular indigestion. It turned out to be gallstones, and I had to undergo surgery because I delayed the checkup. Please go get an ultrasound done if this happens regularly.

I can only share what happened in my family. My father had pain after every meal, and the doctor found a mild stomach ulcer. After a course of antibiotics and acid-blockers, he was perfectly fine, so please consult a professional.

I totally get it, having a painful stomach after every meal makes you dread eating anything. It is a very uncomfortable feeling and can wear you down. Please take gentle care of yourself and let a doctor diagnose the root cause.

Sometimes heavy protein shakes or eating too much fiber suddenly can cause post-meal cramping and gas. Make sure you are drinking enough water throughout the day to help digestion. Keep your meals simple and clean.

Welcome to the group! Pain after eating can be due to mild food allergies, acidity, or even gallbladder issues. Try avoiding spicy and deep-fried foods for a few days. If the pain remains constant, visiting a doctor is the best step.

This post-meal pain is often a classic sign of GERD or a weak digestive fire. Avoid drinking water immediately after your meals and sit in Vajrasana for ten minutes. These simple habits have personally helped me get rid of chronic stomach pain.

For working professionals, eating cold meals at odd hours often causes gastritis and subsequent stomach pain. Try to have warm, freshly cooked meals on a fixed schedule. If the pain persists, consult a general physician instead of self-medicating.

Actually, eating too fast while working on your laptop can cause bloating and pain, yaar. I faced this and realized that our digestive system goes for a toss when we are stressed during meals. Try chewing your food slowly and see.
