What causes total body pain?

My whole body has been aching for the last few days, almost like I ran a marathon without actually doing anything! It's not just one spot, it's everywhere. My mother said it might be just tiredness, but I'm wondering what else could cause such widespread body pain.

Oh no, total body pain is the worst! It usually happens when our body is fighting off a viral fever or when we are extremely exhausted. Drink lots of warm water, eat some light khichdi, and get plenty of cozy rest today!

I am so sorry you are going through this. Total body aches are very draining and often caused by a simple viral infection, severe fatigue, or vitamin deficiencies. Please take proper rest and consult a doctor if you develop a fever.

Please consider getting your Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, and thyroid levels checked. Severe, constant body aches were the main reason I discovered my hypothyroidism. A simple blood test can clarify if your hormone levels are causing this muscle pain.

If it is not a viral fever, chronic body pain can actually happen due to a highly sedentary lifestyle and poor blood circulation. Once your doctor clears you, try starting with light 20-minute daily walks and gentle stretching. It helps release endorphins which naturally reduce pain.

Man, whenever I skip my meals or eat junk food for three days straight, my body complains with terrible aches. Dehydration and lack of real nutrition can definitely make your muscles feel like they ran a marathon. Try having some fresh coconut water and healthy home food.
