What causes temple pain?

I've been getting these strange, throbbing pains on my temples, sometimes on both sides. It's not a full headache, just that specific area. What could be causing this temple pain?

Temple pain is frequently caused by tension headaches, TMJ issues in the jaw, or sometimes eye strain. My doctor mentioned that persistent pain in the temples should always be evaluated to rule out temporal arteritis, especially if you are older. It is best to get a clinical evaluation.

My son used to get sharp pain in his temples after studying for long hours online. It turned out he needed glasses due to eye strain from the screen. Please check if they are spending too much screen time, and get their eyes and health checked by a doctor.

Temple pain can often be a simple tension headache from dehydration or skipped meals! Try drinking a large glass of water and resting your eyes for a bit. But if it doesn't go away, a quick visit to the doctor is always the best plan.

Whenever I get pain in my temples, I immediately start worrying about high blood pressure or something worse. Honestly, the overthinking just makes the headache tighter and worse. Try to sit in a dark room, drink some water, and definitely see a doctor to put your mind at ease.
