Stomach cramps can happen due to basic gas, indigestion, or something like mild food poisoning. I usually suggest drinking warm water and eating light khichdi for a day to see if it settles. But if the pain is severe or doesn't go away in 24 hours, please visit a clinic.

Usually, it's just gas or bad street food, which gets fine with rest. But if it is persistent, go to a government hospital or a local trust clinic where consultations and basic ultrasound tests are quite cheap. Don't directly run to big private labs for expensive scans without a doctor's slip.

Please be very careful with sudden stomach cramps. I once ignored severe abdominal pain thinking it was normal gas, but it turned out to be appendicitis and required emergency surgery. If your pain is sharp, shifting, or accompanied by fever, go to the emergency room immediately.

I totally understand how stressful stomach pain can be, it used to make me so anxious that the pain actually got worse. Sometimes stress and anxiety trigger IBS which causes terrible cramping. Take a deep breath, you will be okay, but do get it checked to ease your mind.

Between back-to-back meetings, skipping meals or eating late-night takeout always gives me bad cramps. It's usually hyperacidity or poor digestion due to a chaotic schedule. If it doesn't resolve with a simple antacid and a good night's sleep, book a quick online doctor consultation instead of ignoring it.
