What causes squamous cell skin cancer?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with squamous cell skin cancer, and he's quite fair-skinned and used to work a lot in the sun. What are the main factors that cause this type of skin cancer? Is it always because of sun exposure?

This type of skin cancer is primarily caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. I highly recommend visiting a reputed hospital with a proper oncology or dermatology department. Ask the doctor clearly about staging and treatment options rather than researching online.

My uncle had this last year on his arm because of his field job in the sun. It is basically DNA damage in skin cells from too much UV exposure. He got a small surgery to remove it and he is totally fine now, so just get it checked by a doc.

Hey, don't stress too much. Squamous cell carcinoma is usually slow-growing and very manageable if doctors catch it early. It is mostly just UV damage from sun exposure. Just get it checked by a skin doc soon so you can get it sorted.

My relative went through this recently, and it was mainly due to years of working outdoors in the sun. Please don't panic as it is highly treatable if caught early. Make sure they wear full sleeves and sunscreen now, and follow the dermatologist's treatment plan strictly.

This is a serious illness caused by staying too long in the harsh sun without protection over many years. While simple things like applying fresh aloe vera can soothe sunburns, they cannot cure cancer. You must show this to a proper medical doctor for correct treatment.

UV rays from the sun damage the skin cells over time, haan na. That is why protecting skin is so important. Please show a good skin specialist immediately, they will guide you properly on how to handle it.
