What causes sleep disturbances?

I used to wake up multiple times at night too. It turned out to be late-night screen time and drinking green tea close to bedtime. Try keeping your room cool and avoiding caffeine after sunset, it really helps.

Haan na, thoda sa tension ya change in routine se bhi sleep disturb ho jaati hai. Late dinner karna ya heavy food khana bhi ek bada reason hai. Try doing some deep breathing before sleeping, aacha lagega.

Sleep disturbances can stem from underlying medical conditions like sleep apnea or restless legs syndrome. I suggest visiting a sleep specialist at a well-equipped hospital to rule out any clinical issues.

As we grow older, our sleep naturally becomes lighter and easily disturbed. Don't worry too much about it, just avoid daytime naps and keep a fixed waking time to set your body clock right.

Eating a heavy, carb-rich meal right before hitting the bed causes blood sugar spikes that wake you up. Try finishing your last meal 3 hours before sleeping and keep your workouts limited to the morning or afternoon.

A sedentary lifestyle is a huge factor behind broken sleep. If you are physically fit, try going for a 40-minute evening walk; it helps burn off excess energy and keeps your sleep deep and uninterrupted.

Hey there! Sometimes it's just stress or an uncomfortable mattress keeping us up. Try some soothing music or a warm bath before bed to help you drift off easily. 😊

Sleep disturbances can be caused by medications, alcohol intake, or even mild vitamin deficiencies. Limit fluid intake right before bed so you don't have to wake up for washroom trips. If it persists, definitely consult a doctor.

In my experience with PCOS, hormonal fluctuations can severely disrupt sleep patterns. Since there can be multiple causes like thyroid or stress, it is best to consult your doctor for a personalized checkup.
