What causes rigors without fever?

I've been getting these shivers and shakes sometimes, like I'm really cold, but I don't have a fever. It's quite strange and makes me uncomfortable. What could cause these 'rigors' without fever?

I had this when my thyroid levels were totally off. It is best to consult a physician for a proper blood test.

Sometimes it is just our body reacting to stress or low blood sugar levels! Wrap yourself in your favorite blanket and have a hot cup of soup. Take it easy and you will feel much better soon!

Hey, don't stress too much, sometimes our nervous system reacts to deep fatigue or cold wind like this. Just cozy up, drink some warm ginger tea, and rest. If you still feel shaky tomorrow, just check in with your doctor, okay?

Bro, I experienced this after a super intense gym session when I didn't hydrate properly. My body just started shaking out of nowhere. Make sure you are drinking enough electrolytes, but if it keeps happening, see a doc.

True, sudden shivering without fever can also be due to extreme anxiety or panic. Try drinking some warm water and wrapping yourself in a blanket.

Rigors without fever can happen due to hypoglycemia, sudden hormonal changes, or a reaction to certain medications. Keep an eye on other symptoms like dizziness or sweating. It is best to have a doctor evaluate this if it occurs repeatedly.

I actually felt this sudden shivering yesterday night even though my room wasn't cold. Does this happen because of low blood pressure or something else? If anyone has faced this before, please share your thoughts.
