What causes recurring kidney stones?

My father keeps getting kidney stones every couple of years, and it's a huge problem. We've tried many things but they keep reoccurring. What are the common reasons for recurring kidney stones?

My teenage daughter had recurring stones, and we found out it was due to a genetic tendency and her habit of skipping water during school hours. We started giving her lemon water daily which helped, but we still keep in regular touch with her doctor.

My kidneys seem to love making stones like they are factory products! Usually, it is just our body screaming for more water and less salty junk food. Keep drinking water like it's your full-time job, but do show a doctor to stop the factory!

I had to cut down on my favorite high-sodium snacks and chocolates because my doctor said they were fueling my kidney stones. It was hard, but staying hydrated and eating balanced meals is better than that horrible pain. Do check with your doctor about your diet.

At 53, my body finds new ways to surprise me, and recurring kidney stones are the worst of them. If you aren't drinking enough water, your body will keep forming them. Do yourself a favor and get a doctor's advice before you end up in pain again.

I have dealt with five stones in ten years. The key is to get the stone analyzed after it passes to find out if it's calcium or uric acid based. Once you know that, a urologist can give you a specific diet plan that actually works.

Don't worry too much, this is highly manageable once you identify the cause. It is usually just low hydration or too much calcium/oxalate in the system. Let's get an ultrasound done first and consult a specialist, okay? Take care.

As a diabetic, I have to be very careful with my kidneys. High blood sugar can sometimes lead to acidic urine, causing stones. Please make sure to monitor your glucose levels and seek proper medical guidance from your specialist.

I had stones twice in two years because I was living on energy drinks and junk. Trust me, you need to flush your system with water. Skip the self-diagnosis, just go to a urologist and get a proper prescription.
