What causes raised liver function?

My father recently had some blood tests done, and his liver function results came back higher than normal. He's quite concerned, and we're trying to understand what might be causing this issue for him.

My grandmother used to say that drinking warm water with a little turmeric and avoiding heavy foods helps the liver rest. However, elevated liver function test values mean there is some inflammation inside, which needs careful medical attention. Please consult a doctor to get the proper advice.

I had elevated liver enzymes on my routine health checkup last year and got so scared. My doctor explained it was just a mild fatty liver from eating too much processed food and stress. I made some simple lifestyle changes and it went back to normal, so don't worry too much but do consult a physician.

It usually just means your liver is working a bit too hard to process something, like oily food, alcohol, or some strong medications! Simple changes can make a big difference. Just get a quick doctor's advice and you'll be absolutely fine!

Honestly, even my roommate had this because of eating outside junk food and junk sleep cycles during exams. It is usually just liver inflammation from a bad lifestyle. Get a checkup done and maybe cut down on the late-night fast food for a bit.

Please don't take elevated liver values lightly. I ignored my high SGPT levels thinking it was just indigestion, and it turned into chronic liver congestion that took a long time to recover from. Go to a doctor and get it treated before it causes any further complications.

Elevated liver markers usually indicate fatty liver, an infection, or side effects from medications you might be taking. Don't waste time on home remedies for this. Get an ultrasound done and consult a gastroenterologist to address it directly.

Beta, in our days we always kept the stomach light with fresh buttermilk and home-cooked simple khichdi to soothe the liver. But elevated lab values must not be ignored. Please visit a proper doctor to understand the exact cause and get treated.
