What causes plaque psoriasis?

A friend of mine has plaque psoriasis, and it looks quite difficult to manage. I'm trying to understand more about it as I've seen some dry patches on my own skin lately. What causes plaque psoriasis to develop?

I have been dealing with plaque psoriasis for five years now, and it is basically an autoimmune response where your skin cells grow too fast. Keep your skin moisturized with thick ointments right after bathing, and avoid harsh soaps. Also, managing stress is the biggest key to keeping it in control.

Please do not ignore these plaques because I ignored mine and they eventually led to severe psoriatic arthritis in my joints. It is not just a skin issue; it is a systemic immune system problem that needs a specialist's attention. Go to a good dermatologist before it spreads or affects your joints.

It is an immune system issue, ho na. Our body starts producing skin cells way too fast and they build up as red patches. Tension and bad weather make it worse, so we have to keep our mind calm and apply coconut oil regularly.

My lack of sleep and late-night work shifts definitely make my skin flare up like crazy. It is an autoimmune thing, but honestly, when you are sleeping only 4 hours a day, your body just stops functioning properly and gives you these itchy patches. Fix your sleep first!

Basically, your immune system gets super excited and decides to build a whole new layer of skin in days instead of weeks! It is like your body is running on 5G while the rest of us are on 3G. Don't worry too much, with the right creams it stays quiet and behaves itself.

Haan, basically body ka immune system thoda confuse ho jata hai and extra skin cells banane lagta hai. Isme dhoop aur thand dono se farak padta hai, na? Just consult a good doctor and don't scratch those patches, otherwise pain badh jayega.

The tests and specialist consultations can get quite expensive if you don't plan ahead. Before going to a corporate hospital, check if your local government medical college has a good dermatology OPD because the biopsy and blood tests are much cheaper there. Budget your monthly medicine expenses too.
