What causes pain under the arm?

Sometimes I feel a tender pain under my arm, like a slight ache or discomfort. It's not very intense but noticeable. My friend said it could be a swollen lymph node, and now I'm a bit concerned.

Underarm pain is so annoying, yaar. Actually, I got it last month and thought it was some major issue, but it was just muscle strain from doing too many chest presses at the gym. Just rest it for a couple of days and see if it goes away.

Sometimes a mild swelling or pain under the arm happens due to heat boils or shaving cuts. You can apply a warm compress with a clean cloth to soothe the area. But if you feel any hard lump under the arm, please do not wait and visit a doctor immediately.

Pain in the axillary region can arise from muscle strain, swollen lymph nodes due to an infection, or even skin issues like contact dermatitis. Given the presence of lymph nodes in this area, any persistent pain or lump should be clinically evaluated. Consulting a physician is the safest approach.

Hey sweetie, don't stress too much! It is very likely just a reaction to a new deodorant or a clogged sweat gland, which is super common in our hot weather. Switch to loose cotton clothes and avoid using heavy sprays for a few days. If it still hurts, just show a doctor.

I sometimes get tender lymph nodes under my arms during my hormonal cycles, which is quite common with PCOS. However, I always get it checked by my doctor to make sure it is not an infection or something else. Please consult your physician to be safe.

Beta, sometimes a cold breeze or sudden heavy lifting can cause a muscle catch in the underarm area. You can apply a little warm coconut oil gently, but do not rub or massage it hard. If you feel any small swelling or if the pain is deep, please get it checked by a doctor.
