What causes pain under right rib cage?

I've been getting a dull, sometimes sharp, pain under my right rib cage recently. It feels like a discomfort rather than a muscle ache. I'm not sure if it's related to something I ate or something else entirely.

Hey, I had this same dull ache under my right rib cage last year and was so scared! It turned out to be just heavy acidity and gas because of my erratic eating habits. Try drinking warm water and avoiding spicy food for a day, but do see a doc if it persists.

In my experience, gentle stretching and deep abdominal breathing can help release trapped gas in the right costal region. However, since the gallbladder and liver are located here, we must be careful. Please ensure a medical professional evaluates you before practicing any intense twists.

Being diabetic, I have to be very careful with right-sided abdominal pain because liver sluggishness is quite common. I make sure to avoid fatty foods and keep my sugar levels completely stable. Please get your liver enzymes and blood sugar checked by your physician.

Hi! Don't worry too much, but yes, do take care of yourself! It might just be a little gas bubble hiding under your ribs. Drink lots of water and eat light home-cooked meals today. If it still hurts, a quick trip to the doctor will clear all your doubts!

My right side has been aching under the ribs for three days now, and I am so scared that it might be gallstones or liver trouble. Has anyone else felt this same dull pain that doesn't seem to go away? I would love to know what your doctor said.

Arey, sometimes it is just simple indigestion or wearing a belt that is too tight while sitting for long hours. Try walking for 15 minutes after your meals and sitting straight. If the pain doesn't go away in a day or two, then go to the local clinic.

I have been feeling a mild pain under my right rib cage since yesterday and I am a bit anxious. Does this pain usually feel worse after eating oily foods, or does it stay the same? I would be very grateful if anyone could share their experience.

I totally get it, having pain on the right side under the ribs is so uncomfortable and can really make you feel anxious. I went through this when I had mild fatty liver issues, and the constant heavy feeling was so annoying. Please take care and visit a doctor to get an ultrasound.
