What causes pain under left breast?

I've been having this weird pressure or pain under my left breast for a few days now. It's not a heart problem, I think, as it feels more like a muscle or something else. It's making me a bit anxious.

This is a very common concern here. Pain under the left breast is frequently caused by simple gastric acidity, a muscle strain, or even rib cartilage inflammation. However, because it is on the left side near the heart, it is always safest to consult a doctor immediately to rule out any cardiac issues.

I have been feeling a sharp pinch-like pain under my left breast since yesterday, and I am so scared it might be a heart problem. Has anyone else felt this exact same pain? Please let me know how you found out what it was.

My mother suggested drinking warm water with a little cumin seed powder to relieve left-side gastric pressure. While this helps with normal gas, I always believe in consulting a physician to be absolutely sure there is no cardiac or bone strain.

Hey dear, don't stress too much! In most cases, it is just severe gas or a tight bra underwire pressing against your ribs. Take a deep breath, wear something loose, and drink some warm water. If it still hurts, just visit a doctor to be completely sure.

Honestly, that left-side rib pain is usually just the spicy samosa you had yesterday planning its revenge! It is almost always a dramatic gas bubble. But jokes aside, if the pain is severe or spreads, skip the laughter and head straight to a doctor.

Having thyroid issues makes me very prone to muscle aches and slow digestion, which often causes gas pain under my left breast. I highly recommend keeping up with your regular thyroid panels and discussing this pain with your doctor during your next follow-up.

Agree with others, this is usually just trapped gas or a minor muscle pull. Try resting and drinking warm water, but do see a doctor if it doesn't stop.
