What causes pain on lower left side of back?

I've started noticing a persistent pain on the lower left side of my back, especially after sitting at my desk for long hours. It's not muscle stiffness, more like a deeper ache. Could it be due to my posture or something else?

I get this lower left back ache quite often, and in my case, it's usually linked to my ovaries or pelvic congestion due to PCOS. I have to be very careful and not assume it's just a regular backache. Please consult your gynecologist or general doctor to check the actual cause.

Look, lower left back pain is usually either a muscle catch from lifting heavy stuff wrongly, or a kidney stone starting to act up. Don't sit around applying random balms for weeks. If the pain is sharp and goes down to your groin, go see a doctor immediately.

Bhai, sometimes working too hard in the fields or lifting heavy water buckets causes this pain on one side of the back. You should apply a little warm mustard oil and rest for a day. If it still hurts, please visit the town doctor.

I had this same lower left back pain last month and it was really painful. Make sure you don't lift heavy weights until you see a doctor.

Since I have high BP, I have to be very careful with any sudden back pain, as it can sometimes be a sign of kidney strain or circulatory issues. I make sure to monitor my pressure levels and avoid taking random painkillers without asking my doctor. Please get a proper checkup.

Oh dear, lower left back pain makes me so anxious because I always think it's a kidney infection or a slipped disc. I hope you are doing okay and not stressing too much. Please get a doctor to check it out soon so you can sleep peacefully without worrying.

I just recovered from this last week! Mine was due to a severe muscle spasm from sitting on a bad office chair. Taking hot water fermentation and doing very gentle back extensions helped me get back to normal, but do consult a physiotherapist first.
