What causes pain inside heel?

I've started feeling a sharp pain on the inside of my heel, almost near the arch of my foot, especially when I get up in the morning. It makes walking difficult initially. What usually causes this kind of pain inside the heel?

I had deep pain inside my heel that I ignored, and it led to a severe chronic tendonitis that took months of therapy to heal. Please do not delay getting it checked by an orthopedic specialist.

For mild heel pain, rolling a cold water bottle under your foot can give very nice relief. However, if the pain is severe or you can't walk, please consult an orthopedic doctor for a proper checkup.

My orthopedic doctor explained that pain deep inside the heel is often plantar fasciitis or a heel spur. He advised stretching the calf muscles and wearing footwear with good arch support, but recommended an X-ray to confirm. Please see a doctor.

Sometimes low levels of Vitamin D3 and B12, which are very common in vegetarian diets, can cause bone and heel pain. While correcting your diet helps, you should still consult a doctor to rule out plantar fasciitis.

Dude, I got this sharp pain inside my heel after wearing some cheap flat sneakers to college. Actually, it was just bad shoe support, but definitely get a doctor to check it if it keeps hurting.

I went to a top orthopedist for my heel pain, and they clearly explained how footwear impact causes this. I suggest visiting a good hospital and asking the doctor for proper diagnostic tests.

I panicked when I felt a sharp pain inside my heel, thinking it was a bone fracture. It turned out to be simple heel spur inflammation that resolved with correct insoles. Don't worry, just get a doctor to check it.
