What causes pain in the bum?

Sitting for long hours at work is becoming a real problem because of this persistent pain in my bum. It feels sore and sometimes even radiates a bit. Any ideas what might be causing it?

Look, pain in that area is usually due to sitting for too long on hard chairs or piles. If you are noticing any bleeding or severe swelling, don't feel shy at all. Go straight to a general surgeon and get it checked properly.

Don't worry too much, but let's be practical about this. It can happen because of a tailbone issue or sometimes fissure. Avoid sitting in one place for long hours today, and if the pain persists, promise me you'll show it to a doctor.

Oh, that is such an uncomfortable place to have pain! 🙈 It might just be a muscle strain from squatting or sitting too long. Try moving around a bit, but if it hurts bad, do consult a doc!

I have thyroid issues and I know how hormonal imbalances and sitting for tests can sometimes make body aches feel worse. It is really important to keep up with your regular medical checkups. If this pain doesn't subside in a day or two, please visit your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Dude, I got this massive pain last month after sitting for a 6-hour coding marathon on a cheap chair. Actually, it was just a bad muscle cramp, but seriously, don't ignore it if it's severe or feels like a deep cyst. Better to get it checked by a doc.

I literally just recovered from this last week, and in my case, it was a painful anal fissure caused by constipation. Sitting in warm water helped me a lot, but honestly, the doctor's prescription is what actually cured it. Do yourself a favor and get a doctor to look at it.
