What causes pain in middle of chest between breasts?

I've had this unusual pain in the middle of my chest, right between my breasts, for about a week now. It's not a heart attack type of pain, more like a soreness or pressure. What could be the common reasons for pain in this area?

My son had a similar pain in the middle of his chest and we got very scared. It turned out to be severe acid reflux from eating junk food late at night. However, chest pain can be serious, so please get it checked by a doctor to be safe.

I know how terrifying it is to feel pain right in the middle of your chest, your mind immediately goes to the worst possible scenarios. I have been there and it is truly scary. Please stay calm, but do head to a doctor immediately to get it checked for your own peace of mind.

Please keep your mind calm and focus on deep, steady breathing, as anxiety can make chest discomfort feel worse. Often, it is just muscle tension or gastric pressure. Praying for your well-being, and please visit a doctor to ensure your heart is perfectly healthy.

My smart band showed a sudden spike in stress levels when I had a similar central chest tightness, which was actually costochondritis (cartilage inflammation). It is quite common but always get an ECG and doctor's advice first to rule out any cardiac issues.

Ghabraiye mat, bohot baar yeh dard gas ya acidity ki wajah se hota hai jo seedhe seene par asar karti hai. Thoda gunguna pani peeyiye aur aaram kariye. Agar dard badhta hai ya bhari-pan lagta hai, toh turant doctor ke paas jaroor jaiye.

In our community, we see many people asking about this, and it is frequently linked to acidity, rib joint inflammation, or anxiety. However, because it is chest pain, we must never take it lightly. Please go to a hospital or clinic to get it evaluated properly.
