What causes pain in lower legs?

My lower legs have been feeling heavy and aching, especially towards the end of the day. Sometimes they even swell a little bit. I don't really do much heavy physical activity. What could be causing this discomfort in my lower legs?

Please be very careful with lower leg pain, especially if there is any swelling or warmth. I ignored it once, and it turned out to be a deep vein issue that became quite complicated. Go to a doctor and get it checked properly without delay.

Lower leg pain is usually due to vitamin D3 deficiency or muscle fatigue. Please consult a doctor for a proper blood test.

Before you spend thousands on expensive leg scans, visit a general physician first. Often, it is just a simple calcium or vitamin deficiency that can be fixed with cheap supplements. A basic blood test is much more cost-effective to start with.

Lower leg pain like shin splints or calf tightness often happens from walking on hard surfaces or wearing worn-out shoes. Gentle calf stretching and light walking can help recovery if your doctor permits. Make sure to get a proper checkup first.
