What causes pain in left back side?

I've been having this nagging pain on my left side of the back, right under my shoulder blade. It's not excruciating but it's always there, especially after sitting for long. What could this indicate?

I had a sharp pain on my left back side last month and thought it was a kidney issue. Turns out, it was just a bad muscle spasm from lifting weights incorrectly. If it is a muscle pull, rest will fix it, but if it's constant, go to a doc.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! It could just be due to sitting in a weird posture on your chair all day. Try using a hot water bag for some quick relief tonight. If it still hurts badly tomorrow, let's get it checked, okay?

Keep a calm mind and do not let fear take over your body. Often, back pain is just physical tension manifesting from daily stress and worries. Please rest well, practice deep breathing, and seek medical guidance if the discomfort continues.

Agree with others, muscle stiffness is very common. Applying a good pain relief gel and resting usually helps, but do see a doctor if it persists.

Sometimes heavy bloating, gas, or even mild kidney stones due to less water intake can cause radiating pain on the left back side. Ensure you are drinking enough fluids and eating fiber-rich vegetarian food. If the pain is severe, please consult a doctor.

My posture tracker kept warning me about a left lean, and soon after, I got this exact left-back ache. It is usually a muscle imbalance from sitting unevenly. Try tracking your sitting habits, but do consult a physiotherapist if it is a sharp, shooting pain.
