What causes nipple pain?

Lately, I've been feeling some tenderness and mild pain in my nipples, especially when I touch them. It's not constant, but it's noticeable. I'm a bit concerned, could this be due to something normal or should I get it checked?

I had nipple pain recently and it was so uncomfortable! For me, it turned out to be irritation from a new bra that was too tight, combined with some hormonal changes just before my period. Once I changed my bra and my period started, it eased up. But it can be caused by many things, so best to get it checked if it persists.

My doctor told me nipple pain can have several causes. Hormonal fluctuations are a big one, especially before periods or during pregnancy. It could also be friction from clothing, dry skin, infection (like thrush), or even certain skin conditions. Less commonly, it could indicate something more serious, so if it's severe or persistent, a check-up is wise.

Experiencing pain, especially in such a sensitive area, can be really distressing and even make you feel very anxious. It's totally okay to feel that way. Please don't ignore it or feel shy to talk about it. Seeking medical advice will help ease your mind and get you the right support.

Nipple pain can be very bothersome, dear. Often it's just hormonal changes or some irritation from clothes. My aunt always said a little coconut oil helps for dryness. But if the pain is severe, or if there's any discharge or redness, it's very important to consult a lady doctor. They can properly diagnose and help you.

Often, nipple pain is due to hormonal changes, especially around your menstrual cycle, or from friction. Gentle moisturizing and wearing comfortable clothing can help. But if you have persistent pain, discharge, redness, or feel any lumps, it's absolutely crucial to get it checked by a doctor right away to rule out anything serious. Don't delay for these symptoms.

Betiyan, nipple mein dard ho toh ghabrana nahi. Unhe sab pata hota hai, woh sahi salah denge.
