What causes nausea and vomiting?

Sometimes, without any clear reason, I suddenly feel really nauseous and then I end up vomiting. It's quite unsettling. What are some general causes for experiencing both nausea and vomiting?

Nausea and vomiting can be due to so many reasons, from food poisoning to acidity or even some medications. It's really hard to pinpoint without proper diagnosis. If it's persistent, I'd definitely recommend seeing a doctor to rule out anything serious. Self-diagnosing can be risky.

Bro, happens to me sometimes after eating some weird street food ya. Or when I'm super stressed before exams. Usually goes away on its own but if it's bad, my mom makes me take some Eno or something. But yeah, if it's too much, maybe show a doc.

My son gets this sometimes, usually when he has a stomach bug or eats too much junk. We give him light food like khichdi and plenty of water. Keep an eye on fever too. If it's severe or lasts long, especially with kids, you must see the pediatrician.

Life can sometimes throw these little challenges, but it's important to approach them with a calm mind. Listen to your body, nourish it with light, wholesome food and maybe some ginger tea. If it persists, consult a good doctor for guidance. Stay positive and take care of your inner self too.

Please, please don't ignore it. I once thought it was just a stomach bug and waited for days, but it turned out to be something more serious that needed immediate attention. It's always better to get checked out by a doctor early on, rather than regretting later like I did.

Hello dear, don't worry too much but do pay attention to your body. Sometimes it's just something simple like indigestion or motion sickness. Other times, it could be a sign of infection or even migraine. Try to remember what you ate last or if you were feeling stressed. If it continues, please see a GP.

Yaar, so many things can cause it, honestly. Sometimes it's just acidity, sometimes food poisoning. Like, actually, once I had it so bad, thought it was food poisoning but doc said it was a viral thing. Best to consult a doctor, don't just guess what it is.

It can be really uncomfortable. Sometimes it's just something you ate, or a viral infection. Drink plenty of fluids and rest. If it doesn't improve, please get a doctor's opinion.

Ugh, nausea is the worst feeling! I get it sometimes with period cramps or when I have a bad migraine. Try sipping on some ORS or light soup. If it's happening a lot, definitely get it checked, could be anything from acidity to something else. Take care!
