What causes multiple myeloma cancer?

My neighbour was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer. I'm trying to understand more about it. What are the underlying causes that lead to this specific type of cancer?

Please, do not ignore any unusual symptoms. I once ignored something and it turned out to be serious. Multiple myeloma is a complex blood cancer, and the exact cause isn't always clear. It involves abnormal plasma cells in the bone marrow. Risk factors can include age, genetics, and sometimes exposure to certain chemicals. But seriously, if you have any persistent bone pain, fatigue, or frequent infections, get a full medical checkup from a specialist immediately. Early detection is everything.

Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer that starts in plasma cells in the bone marrow. While its exact cause isn't fully understood, it's thought to be due to DNA damage in a plasma cell. Risk factors can include age (more common in older adults), being male, African descent, family history, and obesity. Modern medicine is making strides, but proper diagnosis from a hematologist is critical. There's no app for this, sadly, only docs.

This is a serious condition, and cancer treatments are quite expensive, including all the tests and follow-ups. While the exact cause of multiple myeloma isn't definitively known, it's understood to be a cancer of plasma cells. Risk factors include genetics, age, and exposure to certain things. If there's a family history or any concerning symptoms like bone pain or kidney issues, please consult a specialist. Budgeting for medical care is important, but health should always come first.

Multiple myeloma? Sounds like my brain trying to multitask on zero sleep – everything just goes haywire! 😩 On a serious note, though, it's a type of blood cancer where abnormal plasma cells grow in your bone marrow. They don't know the exact cause yet, but it's not from binge-watching Netflix, probably. Definitely needs a proper doctor's diagnosis, not just guessing from Dr. Google!

Oh, cancer is such a scary word. I always get nervous just hearing about it. What causes it? Is it completely random, or can we really prevent it? I always wonder if there are subtle signs that people miss early on. Does anyone here know if they felt anything specific before diagnosis of such serious illnesses?
