What causes middle back pain?

For the past few weeks, I've had this dull ache in my middle back, right between my shoulder blades. It's not severe, but it's constant and quite annoying, especially after sitting for long. What could be causing this type of back pain?

Beta, kamar dard toh aajkal sabko ho jaata hai. Ghar ke kaam, ya galat tareeke se baithne se bhi ho sakta hai. Kabhi-kabhi thodi maalish ya garam paani se sek karne se aram mil jaata hai. Zyada ho toh vaid ji ko dikha lena.

Oh, same! I've been researching this too. It seems like posture is a huge factor, especially with so much screen time now. Also, carrying heavy bags or certain exercises can strain the middle back. Sometimes stress also makes muscles tense, causing pain. It's quite common, actually.

I had middle back pain once and totally freaked out, thinking it was something serious. Turns out, I was just sitting wrong at my desk for hours! It can be as simple as poor posture, heavy lifting, or even a strained muscle. Don't panic, but do look into your daily habits.

My doctor explained that middle back pain often comes from musculoskeletal issues. Things like poor posture, muscle strains from overuse or injury, disc problems, or even spinal alignment issues are common culprits. Sometimes, conditions like arthritis or even kidney issues can refer pain to that area, so it's good to get it checked if it persists.

While diet isn't a direct cause of middle back pain, some nutritional deficiencies can weaken bones and muscles, making you more prone to it. Make sure you're getting enough Vitamin D and calcium, especially if you have a vegetarian diet. And staying hydrated helps with muscle health too.

Middle back pain can be quite uncomfortable, no doubt. From my experience and what I've heard, it's frequently linked to how we sit or stand throughout the day. Lifting heavy objects incorrectly is another common reason. Sometimes, a lack of core strength can also contribute. Gentle exercises and being mindful of your movements can help a lot.
