What causes liver discomfort?

Been having this dull ache on my right side, just under the ribs, for a few days now. It's not constant but comes and goes. Someone mentioned it could be related to the liver, so I'm a bit worried. What causes this kind of discomfort?

Liver discomfort? My liver probably gets discomfort just from seeing my Google search history for 'best biryani near me'. Haha! But on a serious note, it could be anything from fatty liver, gallstones, or even just indigestion. Don't self-diagnose based on my food jokes though, please see a doc if it persists!

Liver discomfort, eh? Maybe it's just protesting all the delicious but heavy food I ate at that wedding last night! Kidding. But seriously, it could be something as simple as indigestion or gas, or maybe a sign of fatty liver if diet's been off. Or even gallstones. Best to check it out rather than just blaming the butter chicken!

Liver discomfort can sometimes be linked to things like a fatty liver, which is often a result of poor diet and lack of exercise. It could also be gallstones or even just gas. Maintaining a healthy weight, eating clean, and regular workouts can definitely help keep your liver happy. If it persists though, don't just push through it, get it checked.

Hey, don't stress too much about liver discomfort without knowing what it is. Could be anything from just acidity or gas, to maybe a bit of a fatty liver if you haven't been eating well. Sometimes even gallstones can cause referred pain. It's always best to just get it checked by a doctor to rule out anything serious, yaar.

Liver discomfort can stem from various causes, ranging from benign issues like indigestion or gas, to more significant conditions such as fatty liver disease, gallstones, or even inflammation (hepatitis). It's crucial not to self-diagnose. If you're experiencing persistent discomfort, consulting a medical professional for a proper diagnosis and appropriate advice is always the recommended course of action.
