What causes kidney disease?

My chacha ji just got diagnosed with some kidney issue and I'm a bit worried. He never really had any major health problems before. Just wondering, generally speaking, what causes kidney disease?

From what I've learned, the two biggest culprits for kidney disease are high blood pressure and diabetes. So many people have these now. Also, some painkillers if you take them too often, and sometimes family history plays a role. It's really important to keep an eye on these things from a young age.

Yaar, actually, kidney disease is mostly due to two big bad guys: diabetes and high BP. If you don't control those, your kidneys take a hit. Plus, some medicines, infections, and even genetics can be a factor. So, like, take care of your health, bro.

Learning that you have kidney disease can be emotionally devastating, I've seen it firsthand. It's important to know that it's not always 'your fault'. Often, it stems from long-term conditions like uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure, or even genetic factors. It's a journey, and seeking support is key.

Many things can harm kidneys. Sometimes, if we don't drink enough water or eat too much salty food, it affects them. Natural foods and staying hydrated are always good. But for serious kidney disease, you absolutely must see a good doctor; home remedies can only do so much.

Kidney disease primarily stems from uncontrolled diabetes and chronic high blood pressure. These are the two biggest factors. Other causes include certain autoimmune diseases, genetic conditions, and prolonged use of some medications. Early detection via regular screenings is critical for managing it.

Please don't ignore early signs! I wish I had paid more attention to my increasing fatigue and swelling. Uncontrolled high BP for years was the silent culprit for my kidney disease. Get annual check-ups, especially if you have risk factors. It's a tough journey if caught late.

I've navigated kidney disease in my family, and the primary causes are almost always chronic high blood pressure and diabetes. These slowly damage the filtering units. It's crucial to proactively manage these conditions, get regular blood and urine tests, and adopt a kidney-friendly diet. Don't wait for symptoms to appear.
