What causes hepatitis c infection?

I recently watched a documentary that mentioned Hepatitis C infections can be very serious. I want to be more aware for myself and my family. What are the common ways a Hepatitis C infection is caused?

Hepatitis C, haan, sounds like a party I never want an invitation to. From what I vaguely recall, it's mostly blood-borne, so like, sharing needles, or unsterilised equipment for tattoos/piercings. Also sexual contact, but less common. Best to ask a real doc, my memory is a bit hazy these days, too many things to remember.

Yaar, hepatitis C is mainly through blood. Like, if someone uses an infected needle for injections, or even for tattoos or piercings at shady places. Sexual transmission is also possible, but less common actually. Better be careful with blood exposure, haan.

Haan ji, hepatitis C ka main reason hai blood. Matlab, agar kisi ka infected blood aa jaaye contact mein, toh ho sakta hai na. Jaise sharing injection needles, ya fir koi tattoo/piercing ki jagah saaf na ho. Sambhal ke rehna chahiye, aur doctor se pooch lena.

Basically, Hepatitis C is like that uninvited guest who crashes your party through the bloodstream! Think unsterilized needles, blood transfusions before 1992 (don't ask, I barely remember yesterday), or sharing personal items that might have blood. So yeah, keep your blood to yourself, unless it's a blood donation drive, then be a hero!

Please, please, if you have any doubts, just get checked. I once ignored some minor symptoms thinking it was nothing and it turned out to be more serious. Hepatitis C spreads through blood, like from contaminated needles or even razors. Don't take chances, go to a doctor.

Hepatitis C is a serious infection, mainly blood-borne. This is why strict hygiene is important, especially when it comes to medical procedures or anything involving blood. While my focus is on managing my diabetes, I know that keeping the body healthy overall is crucial, so always consult a doctor for such concerns.
