What causes epigastric pain?

I've been getting this persistent pain in the upper middle part of my stomach, just below my ribs. It's quite uncomfortable. What are the common causes for epigastric pain?

Sometimes it can be simple things like too much gas or just a bit of indigestion. It's best to observe when it happens and if it's constant. Don't worry too much, but if it's bothering you, a doctor visit is always good.

Oh, epigastric pain! I used to get that quite a bit, especially when I was super stressed or ate very spicy food. It's that burning feeling right below your chest, right? Usually for me, it was just acidity or maybe a bit of indigestion. Try to see if it's related to what you're eating or your stress levels.

I've had that kind of pain too, right in the upper belly area. For me, it often flared up if I skipped meals or had too much coffee. Everyone is different though, so what works for one might not for another. Best to just observe your own body.

Ah, epigastric pain. Many times in life I have felt that. Mostly it is just our stomach being a bit upset, maybe too much spice or a bit of tension. Don't take too much stress about it, but if it is recurring, then it is good to consult a doctor. They can give proper guidance.

It's totally normal to feel a bit anxious when you have pain like that, especially if you don't know why. I remember getting it and my mind immediately went to the worst-case scenario! But usually, it turned out to be something minor like acidity or eating something I shouldn't have. Hope you feel better soon.

I know exactly what you mean, that pain can be really uncomfortable. For me, sometimes it was stress, other times certain foods. I used to try a glass of cold milk or a bit of saunf (fennel seeds) after meals. If it keeps coming back, though, definitely get it checked, there could be other reasons.
