What causes eczema flare-ups?

My skin sometimes gets very itchy and red, and then I get these patches, like an eczema flare-up. I want to know what causes these flare-ups so I can try to avoid them.

I was just reading up on this because my cousin gets these sudden red patches. It seems like even simple things like a change in weather, dust, or even stress can trigger a flare-up out of nowhere. It sounds really tough to manage.

I ignored my initial dry patches thinking they were just normal winter dryness, and they turned into a bleeding, painful infection. Please get it checked by a dermatologist at the very beginning of a flare-up so you don't suffer like I did.

Look, flare-ups happen when your skin gets too dry or when you use harsh soaps with too much perfume. Stop experimenting with multiple cosmetics. Stick to one simple moisturizer, wear cotton clothes, and you'll see a big difference.

Allergy testing can be quite expensive in private clinics. A more practical approach is to keep a daily diary of what you eat and the products you use to find the trigger yourself. Start by switching to a basic, affordable medical soap first.

Eczema flare-ups are mostly caused by extreme dry weather, harsh chemicals, or stress. Keeping the skin moisturized is key.

It can be anything from winter cold to your favorite woollen sweater triggering the itch! Just keep a good moisturizer handy and try to stay relaxed. Hydrated skin is happy skin! 🌟

I went to Fortis to treat my flare-ups. My advice is to ask your doctor clearly about what triggers to avoid, whether it is specific soaps, fabrics, or food allergies. Getting a clear list from a specialist is much better than guessing.
