Please be very careful with ear pain. I thought mine was just a normal ache from a cold, but I delayed showing it to an ENT and ended up with a ruptured eardrum. If the pain is sharp or you feel fluid, run to a doctor immediately.

Bro, I got a crazy earache last winter after riding my bike in the cold without a helmet or cap. The chilly wind got inside and it started paining like anything. Turns out it was a mild ear infection, so dont ignore it if it keeps hurting.

Last month I had a severe throat infection because I couldn't resist eating too much ice cream in the rain, and somehow that throat pain reached my ear. It is so annoying because you can't even chew your favorite rolls properly when your ear is throbbing.

Earaches are usually caused by a blocked Eustachian tube from a common cold, sinus pressure, or a water blockage. Try taking steam inhalation to clear up the nasal passages, as that often relieves the ear pressure. But if the pain is intense, please don't self-medicate with random ear drops without a prescription.

In our time, we used to gently warm a drop of mustard oil with garlic, but you must be very careful nowadays. Don't put anything inside the ear canal if there is any fluid coming out or if the pain is too severe. It is always safer to let an ENT specialist look inside first.

I always go to Apollo whenever I have any ear issues because they have the best specialists. Just go to a proper hospital and ask the doctor clearly if it is a middle ear infection or wax buildup. Don't leave till they explain the exact cause.

Sometimes water getting in during swimming or sweat buildup from wearing heavy over-ear gym headphones for too long causes these infections. If the doctor says it's fine, you can keep up with light walking, but avoid heavy cardio or lifting till the pressure in your head clears up.
