Dealing with any cancer is very tough on the family. In males, bladder cancer is highly linked to tobacco use and exposure to industrial chemicals. Please stay strong, support him, and ensure he gets treatment from a qualified oncologist.

While home remedies like drinking barley water help with UTIs, they cannot treat bladder cancer. This is caused by chemical damage to bladder cells, mostly from smoking. Please make sure he sees a urologist for proper medical care.

My uncle had this, and the doctor told us that smoking is the absolute leading cause in men. If any male family member is noticing blood in their urine, please guide them to see a doctor immediately.

Just like how lifestyle affects blood pressure, tobacco use and smoking are the biggest risk factors for bladder cancer in men. Regular medical checkups and urinalysis are critical if you have a history of heavy smoking.
