What causes bacterial kidney infection?

My mother recently had a kidney infection and the doctor mentioned it was bacterial. I was surprised because she's usually very healthy. How does someone get a bacterial kidney infection?

Usually, it starts because we forget to drink water like normal human beings and then a simple UTI travel up to the kidneys. Our body's plumbing needs cleaning, boss. Don't ignore it, otherwise, hospital bills will give you a heart attack.

My grandmother always used to say drink plenty of barley water to flush out everything, but for a kidney infection, you must see a doctor. It usually happens when a bladder infection is left untreated. Please complete the full antibiotic course your doctor prescribes.

Oh god, did you get high fever and severe back pain too? I have been reading up and I am so scared it might be a kidney infection. Did anyone else feel shivering and nausea with this, or is it just me? I am planning to see a doc tomorrow.

Basically, bacteria from a urinary tract infection travels upwards if we don't treat it in time. The most practical thing is to drink plenty of clean water, never hold your urine for long, and consult a doctor for proper antibiotics. Don't waste time on self-medication here.

Haan, kidney infection is actually quite painful, na. It usually happens when normal bladder infections are ignored for too long. Clear advice is to get a urine culture test done immediately so the doctor can give the right medicine.

My daughter had this last year and it was very stressful. It happens when normal skin or gut bacteria enter the urinary tract. Keep the child hydrated and finish the entire medicine course even if they feel better in two days.

Do not worry, the body has a beautiful way of healing itself when we give it the right care. These infections usually happen when our system gets congested. Stay positive, consult a good doctor, and drink clean water to flush out the toxins.
