What causes autoimmune hepatitis disease?

My aunt has been feeling unwell for a while, and the doctors finally diagnosed her with autoimmune hepatitis disease. We don't understand much about it. Can you tell me what causes this disease where the immune system attacks the liver?

While having warm amla juice or light home-cooked meals is great for supporting liver function, they cannot cure this disease. Autoimmune hepatitis is caused when your body's defense system mistakenly attacks your own liver cells. You must consult a doctor for proper immunosuppressant treatment, as home remedies alone won't work.

Our bodies are so complex that sometimes the immune system decides to fight our own liver instead of actual infections—talk about a bad design flaw! It is usually triggered by a mix of genetics and environmental factors. Definitely go to a specialist because you can't solve this with just an extra hour of sleep or green tea.

This illness arises when the body's internal balance is disrupted, causing the immune defense to turn against the liver. Gentle yoga and meditation can help reduce stress and calm the body's inflammatory response. However, these are only supportive paths, and proper medical diagnosis and treatment are absolutely essential.

Dealing with chronic conditions makes you realize how delicate our immune system is. Autoimmune hepatitis occurs when genetic factors and environmental triggers cause the body to attack its liver tissue. It is a serious condition that requires cautious monitoring and guidance from a hepatologist, so please don't hesitate to seek help.

My cousin got diagnosed with this last year after feeling constantly tired and having yellow eyes. The doctors said his immune system was basically damaging his liver, probably due to a genetic trigger. He is on proper medical treatment now and doing much better, so get diagnosed early.

Even though I love trying out new street foods, a disease like autoimmune hepatitis means your liver needs extreme care and a very clean diet. It is caused by your own immune system attacking the liver, which can be triggered by genetic factors. Make sure to visit a specialist and follow their exact medical advice.
