What causes asthma?

My younger sister sometimes gets this terrible cough and wheezing, especially at night or when she's playing. Her doctor suspects it might be asthma. I'm wondering what really causes this condition to develop.

While my love for street food keeps me busy, I know asthma can sometimes be triggered by food preservatives or certain cold drinks. But medically, it is mostly due to genes and airway inflammation from pollution and dust. So while I enjoy my spicy chaat, I keep dust away to keep my lungs happy!

Asthma occurs when the breathing passages become sensitive and swollen due to environmental irritants and stress. In my experience, gentle breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom help soothe the nervous system and strengthen the lungs. However, these practices are supportive and you must always keep your doctor's inhaler handy.

Asthma is generally caused by a mix of genetic factors and allergies to dust, pollen, or cold air. My mother always advises me to drink warm water and avoid sleeping under direct fan breeze, which helps. Still, we must completely trust the doctor's prescription and use the daily preventive inhalers.

For mild congestion, having ginger-honey tea or inhaling steam can give some temporary relief to the throat. But asthma is a chronic issue caused by airway swelling and allergies, so home remedies cannot cure it. If you are struggling to breathe, please see a doctor immediately.

Honestly, the crazy pollution in our cities is one of the biggest reasons so many young people are getting asthma nowadays. It is basically an immune reaction where your lungs get hyper-sensitive to dust and smoke. If you are coughing a lot after a workout, better get it checked by a doc.

Please don't take breathing issues lightly; I once ignored a minor wheeze and ended up in the ICU with a severe asthma attack. Asthma causes your airways to swell up suddenly, and it can become life-threatening very fast. Always consult a pulmonologist and keep your emergency inhaler with you.

Bhai, asthma mostly comes from dust, smoke from chulhas, and changing seasons that trigger allergies. Humare yahan ke bade-buzurg kehte hain ki thand se bacho, par asli fayda doctor ki dawai aur saaf hawa se hi hota hai. Apna dhyan rakho aur dhool-mitti se door raho.

My fitness tracker showed a drop in my sleep quality on high AQI days, which led to my asthma diagnosis. Asthma is caused by hyper-reactive airways responding to triggers like pollen, dust, or pollution. Using air quality apps to check AQI before outdoor runs can help you prevent sudden breathing issues.

Our lungs are our connection to the life force, and asthma is often our airways reacting strongly to pollution, stress, and family history. Keep your mind calm, stay positive, and take proper care of your physical health. With the right medicine and a peaceful mind, you can manage this beautifully.

Asthma is caused by chronic inflammation of the airways, which can be influenced by allergies and environmental toxins. I focus on eating a clean, plant-based diet rich in antioxidants to help reduce overall body inflammation. However, diet is only a supportive tool, and proper medical treatment is essential for asthma.
