What causes arthritis in the back?

I've been experiencing a lot of lower back pain lately, and the doctor mentioned it could be a type of arthritis. I always thought arthritis was only in joints like knees and hands. What exactly causes arthritis in the back?

Over time, our spine goes through natural wear and tear, and sometimes the cartilage between joints just wears down. It is a part of life's journey, so stay positive and keep moving gently. Just take good care of your daily posture and let your body heal at its own pace.

Honestly, when my doctor first told me it was spinal arthritis, I sat in my car and cried for an hour. It felt like my body was failing me so early, but please know your feelings are completely valid. It is usually caused by wear and tear or old injuries, and accepting it is the hardest but most important first step.

I have been dealing with facet joint arthritis in my lower back for six years now. It is mostly due to age, bad posture, and sometimes genetics, but you can definitely manage it. My advice is to strengthen your core muscles with low-impact exercises and never sit continuously for more than forty minutes.

Hey, don't stress too much about the big medical terms, okay? A lot of times it is just the daily desk job strain and standard wear and tear of the spinal joints as we grow. Just get a proper doctor to look at it, start some gentle stretches, and take it one day at a time!

It is so tough when the back constantly aches, mostly because the cushioning between our spinal bones thins out with age. I have tried everything from hot mustard oil massages to putting turmeric haldi in my milk every night. While these home remedies give great temporary relief, you must get a proper diagnosis from a specialist.

Haan, back pain can turn out to be arthritis when the joint cartilage starts degenerating, na. Humare heavy lifting aur bad posture se bhi pressure badhta hai spine pe. Honestly, once you cross thirty-five, these issues start showing up, so getting an X-ray done is the best way to be sure.

Usually, back arthritis comes from cartilage breakdown in your spine, often worsened by a weak core and poor biomechanics. Focus on an anti-inflammatory diet with good omega-3 sources and work on your core strength. Strengthening the muscles around your spine acts like a natural brace, but check with a physio first.
