What causes a low fever?
My little one, Riya, has been having a very slight fever, like 99.5 F, for a couple of days now. She's otherwise active, but I'm worried. What causes such a low fever that doesn't go away completely?

I had a low fever last week and was feeling so drained out. It is usually just your body fighting off a mild viral cold, or sometimes it's due to extreme tiredness and stress. Drink lots of warm water, take proper rest, and you should feel better in a day or two.
I know how irritating a low fever can be, making you feel cold and weak. I always drink warm ginger-tulsi tea and take a steam inhalation to soothe my system when this happens. Just eat light khichdi and rest, but do see a doctor if the fever stays for more than three days.
Don't worry too much, low-grade fevers are very common and are usually caused by minor viral infections or even exhaustion. Just make sure you track your temperature and stay hydrated. If it persists or you feel very weak, we'll consult a doctor, alright?
A low-grade fever is basically your immune system doing a tiny test run to fight off some random bug. It's like a software update for your body—annoying, but necessary! Just stay under the blanket, watch your favorite show, and let your body do its thing.
A low-grade fever is usually just a mild reaction to a cold or fatigue. Please don't stress, get some good sleep, and keep yourself hydrated. Hope you feel better very soon.
Whenever I get a low fever, I start worrying if it is typhoid, malaria, or something worse. But my doctor always tells me that most low fevers are just basic viral infections that go away on their own. Try to rest and check your temperature every few hours so you can show the reading to a doc if needed.
