What causes a fever in adults?

I've been having on-and-off fevers for a few days, and it's making me feel quite weak. I'm wondering what are the common causes of fever in adults. Is it always a sign of infection?

Yaar, fever actually koi bimari nahi hai, it's just our body fighting some infection. It can be caused by viral infections, bad food, or even too much exhaustion. If it's normal, take rest, but if it crosses 102, then definitely consult a doc.

In my experience, adult fevers are mostly viral infections or urinary tract issues. My tip is to monitor the temperature every four hours and keep yourself hydrated with coconut water or electoral. Do not self-medicate with strong antibiotics without a doctor's prescription.

I completely understand how stressful it is when your temperature suddenly rises, I used to panic and think it's something severe. Most of the time it's just a simple viral flu or infection. Try to stay calm, rest, and check in with a doctor if you feel too uneasy.

Fever in adults is mostly caused by viral flu or common infections. Please don't worry, rest well and drink plenty of fluids, it usually gets better in a couple of days.

I know how miserable and weak a sudden fever makes you feel, both physically and mentally. It can be due to flu or a throat infection. Just lie down, don't force yourself to work through it, and let your body heal.

Since I have thyroid issues, my immunity is sometimes low, and even mild viral infections can trigger a fever. It is usually a response to bacteria or virus. Keep tracking your temperature and ensure you follow up with your family doctor if it doesn't go away in three days.

Haan, fever to aam taur par weather change se ya kisi viral infection se hota hai, na? Paani khoob pio aur thoda aaraam karo. Agar do-teen din mein theek na ho, toh doctor ko zaroor dikha lena.

Fever is our body's way of cleansing and fighting off unwanted toxins or infections. Keep your mind calm, drink warm water or herbal tea, and rest. Stay positive, eat very simple food, and let your body recover its strength.

A fever is just your immune system ramping up the heat to kill off some invading virus or bacteria. Skip the gym completely, focus on eating light protein, and drink plenty of water. Rest is the only workout your body needs right now.

Hey, I had a bad fever last month, and it was just a viral throat infection. Make sure you get some light khichdi, take steam if your nose is blocked, and keep a paracetamol handy if the body ache gets too bad. Take care!

When my family gets a fever, I usually give them warm tulsi-ginger tea to soothe the throat and reduce shivering. A fever is just our body fighting germs. But remember, home remedies are only to comfort you, if the fever is high or lasts days, see a doctor.

I totally get it, having a fever when you have so much work is the worst feeling. It is usually your body's natural defense against common infections like a cold or stomach bug. Take a day off, rest up, and please take care of yourself.
