What cant a diabetic eat?

My father recently got diagnosed with diabetes, and now everyone in the house is confused about what to cook for him. We want to know which foods he absolutely cannot eat, so we can avoid them completely.

Honestly, please get your blood sugar levels checked by a doctor first before cutting out everything. I ignored my high sugar symptoms for months thinking it was just weakness, and I really regret it now. Don't self-diagnose based on internet lists, get a proper HbA1c test done first.

My doctor explained that nothing is completely forbidden, but we must strictly avoid simple carbs like maida, white rice, and sugary soft drinks. They cause sudden spikes. It is better to focus on complex carbs and fiber like oats or brown rice instead.

Haan na, starting me tension hota hai ki kya khayein kya nahi. Actually pure sugar, sweet biscuits and outside junk foods are the main things to avoid. Ghar ka simple khana is best, bass refined flour and excess potato thoda control karna padta hai.

It is all about the glycemic index and daily activity. Avoid sugary fruit juices and refined sweets that instantly spike insulin. Pair your carbs with good protein and fiber, and try to walk for 15 minutes after your meals to manage the spike.

I panicked like crazy when I was first diagnosed, thinking my food life was over. But once you meet a good dietitian, you realize you can eat almost everything in moderation. Just avoid the obvious culprits like sweets and white bread, and you will be completely fine.
