What cancers cause elevated liver enzymes?

My aunt had some blood tests done, and her liver enzymes were elevated. The doctor mentioned it could be due to various reasons, including some cancers. I'm curious, what cancers can cause elevated liver enzymes?

I completely understand how scary it is to see high liver enzyme numbers on your blood report. Honestly, mine were high due to a simple stomach bug and some painkillers, not cancer at all.

Primary liver cancer or metastatic cancers can cause elevated liver enzymes. However, simple fatty liver or standard medications also cause this, so get an ultrasound done to be sure.

Ofo, high liver enzymes usually just mean you had too many deep-fried samosas last week! Don't jump to cancer conclusions immediately, just drink more water and show the report to a doc.

Liver and pancreatic cancers can elevate enzymes. To save on medical bills, get a basic liver function test and ultrasound at a government hospital first before going for costly scans.

I just got my reports and my SGPT is a bit high. Does this always mean something serious like liver cancer, or can it happen from normal fever too?
