What cancer causes sunken cheeks?

My neighbour has been looking very thin lately, with very noticeable sunken cheeks. She's been losing weight rapidly. I'm concerned if this could be a symptom of cancer.

Please try not to worry too much thinking about cancer first. Sunken cheeks usually happen just because of sudden weight loss or general weakness, not always something serious. Take care of your health and eat well.

When my son became very weak and his cheeks looked totally sunken, we got so scared. But it was actually just a severe vitamin deficiency and dehydration because he was skipping meals. Do get a basic blood test done first to see if it is just lack of nutrition.

Please don't jump to conclusions like cancer just because of sunken cheeks. It is usually just dehydration or quick weight loss, so visit a doctor once.

I had extreme weight loss and sunken cheeks last year during my illness, and my mind went straight to the worst thoughts. Honestly, once my underlying stomach infection was treated, my weight came back and my face is totally fine now. Check with a physician to find the actual reason instead of searching online.

Ofo, if I skip even two meals, my cheeks start looking hollow and my mom starts lecturing me. Make sure you are eating proper heavy meals with ghee and good fats before overthinking. Have some paneer parathas first, sometimes it is just lack of good food!
